PROFILE: The Sussex County Post is the dominant weekly newspaper for all of Sussex County. With a circulation of 30,000 the newspaper is widely distributed  at hundreds of high traffic locations throughout the county; Saltwater Sussex from Slaughter Beach down the coastal highway including Lewes, Rehoboth, Selbyville, Ocean View and Dagsboro ; Central Sussex/Rt. 113  from southern Milford to Milton, Georgetown, Millsboro, Oak Orchard and to the county line, and Western Sussex/Rt. 13 corridor from Greenwood to Delmar which includes Seaford the county’s western economic center.

The Sussex County Post  takes a magazine approach to reporting on the issues, topics and events of interest to all Sussex Countians, helping to weave a rich tapestry of life  in  a county of historic towns, farms, scenic natural areas and an incredible coastline.

From Sussex County many major cities are within easy driving distances, such as Baltimore (101 miles), Washington, D.C. (115 miles), Philadelphia (122 miles). This easy accessibility mixed with farm, field, forest, pond, state parks, moderate weather, low taxes and excellent real estate values has become increasingly attractive to retirement living, vacationing crowds and year-round families escaping to the relaxed rural settings.
